After a brief hiatus, the north country's favorite ag radio show is back and better then ever! We've moved the show to 790 WTNY (www.790wtny.com), Northern NY's News Talk Connection. Join Jay Matteson and Mike Schenck every Saturday from 9am to 10am as they explore agriculture and bring you the best of the North Country! From food to fiber, and wine to politics, everything agriculture is food for discussion on the Home Grown Show.

Jay Matteson hosts The Home Grown Show. Jay serves as Jefferson County's Agricultural Coordinator and Chief Executive Officer for the Jefferson County Agricultural Development Corporation. Through the Corporation, Jay has hosted the Home Grown Show since it was first created in 2001. Mr. Matteson also worked as a high school sports broadcaster for local radio stations. Jay has written numerous articles and editorials about farming and is frequently quoted by local news media. He's been recognized for his work in educating the public about agriculture by the NYS Agricultural Society's Ag Journalism Awards Program.
